We have both loved dogs all our lives and had own own for many years of various breeds but our dog sitting story began in 2017 after a 14 month adventure on our motorbike in South and Central America.
During that trip we met many lovely street dogs, many of which we would loved to have taken with us but with two people on one motorbike there was no room! We did, however, give them some love and some treats that we always had with us. You can read about that adventure at the link below:

During the trip we helped out at some local rescue centres but on returning home we decided to join the Mind My House website we met a lovely couple with a Labrador and a Lurcher. We have since looked after there dogs (and house) many times since as well as a couple of others.

2024
Looking after an elderly Labrador called Sidney, while his family were away abroad on holiday.
2023
This year we travelled to some remote Scottish islands with our own dog Purdy for 6 months so we didn't manage any dog sits.
2022
Poor Franny had died recently so this year we dog sat only for Scamp.
